Video Summary
The talk reviewed CMR imaging in transposition of the great arteries and related congenital repairs. For arterial switch patients, echo is often sufficient early, but CMR becomes important later to assess ventricular function, neo-aortic dilation, pulmonary artery stenosis, coronary issues, and regurgitation using cine imaging, flow quantification, MRA, and late gadolinium enhancement. For atrial switch patients, CMR focuses on baffle obstruction or leak, systemic right ventricular dysfunction, and venous pathway flow. Similar principles apply to Rastelli, double-switch, and L-transposition patients, including conduit assessment and device-compatible imaging.
