A new “donation” learning activity type was added, with its own `donation activity` table linked by `learning_activity_id`. The team chose to reuse the existing learning activity framework so donations can leverage current purchasing, enrollment, and reporting systems without major rework. The donation UI will offer three preset amounts plus a custom option, with recurring donations planned for later. On the shopping cart page, users will be able to add an optional donation amount to their purchase. The team asked others, especially in Jakarta, to review and share feedback.
